Meah Says: BET AWARDS RECAP

First off - The pressure was ON for BET to come up with a true tribute for Michael Jackson. So with that being said, I aim to be very understanding however there a few things that I found interesting:

• Was Jamie Drunk? *smh* Maybe he really did have some Ciroc in the back. By the end of the Award show I was tired of seeing Jamie doing everything but actually HOSTING!!!
• NeYo can sing, and if it wasn’t for him I would not have figured this show was a tribute to Micheal Jackson. NeYo also killed those GayRumors by bringing his Ghetto-SideChic. lls
• What was Beyonce wearing? Is that a wedding gown? Is that a gospel song she singing with a bathing suit on … interesting. Did you see how Jamie rushed her off the stage?
• Was it me or did Monica out-blow K.Coles?
• Mario should not have thought those cross-colors was the “in” thing to do.
• Souljah Boy’s performance was OK.
• Tyrese, Trey Songz, and Jamie performance was GOOOOD. I probably wasn’t that focused on the vocals because all of these brothers look nice in suit.
• Mary Mary performance was great, glad they finally getting the shine they deserve.
• MAXWELL, MAXWELL, MAXWELL - this man is ageing so damn well
• Fabolous did his thang….
• Drake & Wayne performed like this show wasn’t planned or they wasn’t asked until they got there. I didn’t understand why they thought it was ok to have kids on stage. Why was lil Wayne’s daughter so close to Drake. They had him sitting on that stool looking like a broke Santa. Apparently, Drake tore a ligament in his knee from playing basket ball.
• I wonder how Wayne felt having his first Baby Momma and child at the award show. Tameka and Tiny was promoting their new reality show that debuts on Tuesday.
• When Tiny went up to accept T.I’s awards..I felt bad for T.I. Not because he is in jail but that his girl looks so close to sea-monkey. (sorry)
• Where was Chris Brown? We heard that CB couldn’t perform because Jay Z said he wouldn’t if CB performed… WOW-WTF
• Jay Z performed Death of Autotone - he blows up a big A chain, and Julez Santana felt that he to defend himself on Twitter: A! Now finally.. I told yall what i had to say about the chain. The A chain was for Auto Tune, but why the fuck was Jay-Z movin like that? (lls@ JuJu)
  
• Why Kanye Didn’t perform? IDK
• Where was Usher? Overseas but will be working on a tribute for MJ when he returns.
  
• Janet Jackson made me cry - Just knowing the pain that she was feeling and trying to deal with after only 2 days. I commend her strength for just showing up. 
• and last but not least, WTF Joe Jackson? Joe actually promotes his record label while speaking to CNN about Michael’s death on the red carpet. Yup, check out the clip here.
• Did you notice BET used all old photos of Michael during the entire Award’s show? and no photos of his kids? *giving BET the side eye*
